Six stages, and you control the last one.
Reading a page, deciding what goes where, typing it in, and submitting are four different things. ApplyPilot keeps them separate on purpose — so it never jumps from a URL straight to a submitted application.
- 01
Analyze
Paste a job URL. ApplyPilot reads the posting, extracts the requirements with the sentence each one came from, and detects the platform.
- 02
Inspect
The extension reads the application form in your browser. It finds every field, and classifies every question. Nothing is written yet.
- 03
Map
Each field is matched to your profile, with a confidence score and a reason you can read. Low-confidence matches are not filled.
- 04
Preview
You see exactly what would be filled, where each value comes from, and what still needs you — before anything is typed.
- 05
Autofill
ApplyPilot fills the fields it is confident about and highlights them in the page, so you can see the difference it made.
- 06
You submit
ApplyPilot stops here. You review the application and click the employer’s own submit button yourself.
It is not “AI applies to jobs for you”.
It is AI prepares your application, you stay in control. That distinction is not marketing — it is built into how the product works.
Some questions are never answered automatically
Work authorization, sponsorship, salary, background screening and voluntary demographics always require your explicit confirmation, no matter how confident the match is.
Missing information is asked about, not guessed
If your profile does not answer a question, ApplyPilot says so and asks you. It will not produce a plausible-sounding answer to fill a gap.
It never asks for employer passwords
ApplyPilot works inside your own browser session. It does not store credentials for any applicant tracking system, and it never attempts to bypass a human verification challenge.
What you see for every filled field
avery.chen@example.comSource: Profile → Personal Information
Why: Field name “email” is an exact match.
Work authorization answers are legally binding, so they always need your confirmation — even though your saved answer matches at 92%.
Every platform, honestly labelled.
ApplyPilot does not claim uniform support for fifty systems. Each platform says exactly what it can do — and anything unrecognised falls through to a generic engine that shows its confidence before filling a single field.

Your data stays yours
Export everything or delete your account from one page. You can see exactly which fields ApplyPilot is able to read, because that list is a fixed allow-list, not a reflection over your profile.
Privacy dashboard →Minimal permissions
The extension asks only for the sites you actually apply on, uses short-lived revocable tokens, and never reads a password field. Every action it takes is written to an audit log you can read.
How security works →Honest analytics
ApplyPilot reports application activity — how many fields it filled, how much typing it saved. It does not claim to improve your odds of being hired, because it cannot know that.
