Terms of Service
Effective September 25, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of ApplyPilot AI (“ApplyPilot”, “we”, “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. What ApplyPilot does
ApplyPilot is a job application autofill tool. It reads your profile (work experience, education, skills, and personal information that you provide), detects the applicant tracking system on a job application page, and proposes values to fill repetitive form fields. You review every proposed value before anything is written, and you click the employer’s own submit button when you decide to apply.
ApplyPilot never submits an application on your behalf. There is no code path in the product that clicks a submit button. The employer’s submit control is yours alone.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and contact us immediately.
You must be at least 16 years old to use ApplyPilot. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. What you may and may not do
You may:
- Use ApplyPilot to assist with your own genuine job applications.
- Upload your own resume and provide your own profile information.
- Export or delete your data at any time from the privacy dashboard.
You may not:
- Use ApplyPilot to submit applications or misrepresent another person.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any employer’s terms.
- Attempt to bypass or remove the safeguards that prevent automated submission.
4. Profile data and accuracy
The accuracy of your applications depends on the accuracy of your profile. ApplyPilot fills fields from the information you provide. You are responsible for ensuring your profile is truthful and up to date. ApplyPilot never invents a qualification, employment record, certification, date, or any other fact — if information is missing, it asks you rather than guessing.
5. AI and third-party providers
ApplyPilot uses large language models (currently Anthropic’s Claude) to classify application form fields and, where enabled, to draft answers to screening questions from your own profile material. These model calls are made server-side. Your resume text and field labels may be sent to the model provider as part of the classification or drafting step; your raw passwords, employer credentials, and the employer’s form values are never sent.
Answers drafted by the AI are shown to you for review and are never submitted without your approval. You remain responsible for the content of every answer in your application.
6. The browser extension
The ApplyPilot browser extension runs inside your browser on employer job application pages. It reads the structure and labels of application forms (not their values), sends those labels to our server for mapping, and writes values from your profile into the form fields you have approved. The extension never reads or transmits your passwords or your credentials for any employer site.
7. Availability and changes
We provide ApplyPilot on an “as is” basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ApplyPilot and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to losses related to job applications or employment decisions. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if you used the service for free, £50 / $50).
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold ApplyPilot harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service in violation of these terms, your profile content, or your job applications.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ApplyPilot operates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the current version came into force. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
